May 2017: Procurement For All launches two new agreements for its membership, and wider public sector

Procurement For All has successfully launched two new agreements in May, in partnership with our strategic partner, The Procurement Partnership: Business Solutions and Decorating Cards and Paint Packs.

The new Business Solutions framework, open to the whole public sector, will revolutionise the back office supply chain.  Comprising office supplies, workwear and PPE, cleaning, catering and hygiene supplies and a business solutions consultancy, the framework is expected to be very popular, with achieving supply chain savings of more than 15%.

"Our analysis across different areas of the public sector identified one common theme: the procurement of office supplies, workwear and PPE and janitorial supplies is very fragmented" explains Keith Armstrong, Managing Director at Procurement For All.  "Lot 4 - Business Solutions - encapsulates this fragmentation, allowing members (and the wider public sector) to take advantage of a full back office supplies review, at no cost to their organisation.  This really is as a case of 'why wouldn't you try the framework out!'  There is no financial risk or obligation"

The Business Solutions review is designed to identify efficiencies, reduce fragmented and sporadic purchasing, standardise product range, and will allow budget holders to regain control in an area that is seen as low spend and insignificance.  This couldn't be further from the truth.

Phil Williams, Assistant Director at the Procurement Partners, explains, "Quite often office and facilities supplies are overlooked or brushed to one side.  Because of this, price creep and sporadic spending has led to organisations unable to demonstrate value for money in these areas.  This framework allows organisations to either enter into an OJEU compliant supply contract, or take advantage of a full office and facilities supplies review."

In further developing our partnership, Procurement For All has secured an exclusive deal with national merchant B&Q for the supply of Decorating Cards and Paint Packs.

The deal, accessed via The Procurement Partners' Spectrum Materials Supply Chain Framework, has enabled Procurement For All, with full support from B&Q, to enter into an OJEU complaint agreement for sector beating discounts and annual rebate.

"With our volume, the deal exceeds anything else in the marketplace for Decorating Vouchers and Paint Packs" explains Martin Ellicott, Procurement and Contracts Manager at Procurement For All.  "We have opened this deal up to the whole public sector."

Phil Williams, Assistant Director at the Procurement Partners: "This is how a true partnership should be.  We had the framework - PFA approached B&Q and off the back of the framework successfully gained preferential rates for their members."

Both the Business Solutions and Decorating Cards and Paint Packs agreements are easily accessible, and are available for the whole public sector to use.
