Preferred Partner Selected to Monitor PFA Contractors

Published on: 27 / 05 / 2011

Procurement For All Ltd has selected Constructionline as its preferred partner to manage the financial monitoring of its contractor base.

After a competative quotation process, Constructionline was selected based on best value, and best range of relevant services.

"Not only do we [Constructionline] monitor the financials, but also many other important elements, such as policies and insurances, to ensure they are up to date, for each contractor," explains Michael Waddington, Client Relationship Manager of Constructionline.

The system, which will monitor and check the financial status of each of PFA's 76 contractors, will 'flag' up any financial issues as soon as they arise.  This 'early warning system' will help PFA alert members and to take action to investigate further.

As Keith Armstrong, Managing Director of Procurement For All explains: "This system is hugely important for us and our members.  As a responsible consortium, it is only right that we ensure that, as an added value service to our members, we monitor the contractor base in the best way possible.  This helps to reduce the risk of potential loss of service to members.  Given the market conditions over the last few years, this is a vital tool for PFA and an important part of the core services we have developed for our members."

Constructionline is a Public-Private Partnership between Capita and the Department for Business Innovation & Skills.
